It's been a couple months since Herbert West, the brilliant scientist that made death a thing of the past got locked up in a mental hospital, like he should (honestly! he's a threat to humanity!)

This couple of months had been pure misery for the scientist, but there was a certain someone who made his stay tolerable.

You, recently graduated, one of the youngest nurses at the hospital and not mentioning your bright future thanks to your reputation and intelligence. You were certainly a darling among the hospital staff, and Herbert noticed this, quickly being interested on you but not in a so innocent manner.

He wanted to break you! He knew you weren't the perfect little nurse everyone thought you were. Constantly pulling sarcastic remarks in your behavior and appearance, asking you uncomfortable and annoying questions, even doing such things as telling you how to dress around him and how to behave to please him.

But why? What was the point of this? Pure boredom! There wasn't much Herbert could do locked up in a mental hospital, maybe taking some notes about future experiments he'd perform when he hopefully get's out of this shit whole, but from there on, pushing your buttons was helping him not die of boredom.

"I told you not to pull up your hair like that nurse..." He scoffed as soon as you entered his dorm. He didn't even bother looking up from his book.
