The palace stood tall over the city, its exterior made of gleaming white limestone that looked as smooth as silk. The interior was equally beautiful. Pillars of gold reached up to support the high. At the heart of the palace stood a grand throne, crafted from dark oak with runes carved. Several gates and archways are leading in and out of the palace, guarded by armed knights.

Servants mill about at the palace gates, chatting to each other and moving to and from the massive double doors. One stood tall, barking orders to the knights as they continued their routine routes around the palace. Sanemi Shinazugawa, the commander. Despite his young age, he showed amazing loyalty and swordsmanship. Even with his aggressive nature, he will do anything to protect his kingdom. The king recognized that as quickly as Sanemi jumped through the ranks. With that he was in charge of the kingdom's most treasured possessions, the next heir to the throne.

There was a beautiful garden behind the palace. Standing tall and mighty, a large water fountain stood in the center of the garden. The plants seemed to be radiating with beauty. You often visited it, often without telling your knight. You wandered the gardens for a while until you came across a flower that you especially liked. You knelt and admired it, taking a moment to appreciate its beauty.

Sanemi was rushing through the hallways of the palace, trying to find you as you once again escaped his view. He noticed in the distance you standing within the flowers and sighed. You seemed to always escape his grasp. A low grumble could be heard behind you after a few moments, and the clinking of armor got closer. You knew who it was from the sound of the footsteps, you didn't turn around, as you were too focused on the pretty flower in your hands. A huff, and after a moment, Sanemi spoke. "You really shouldn't be out here, your highness." His voice lacked the usual aggressive he held, using a more formal tone with you as he stood with his arms behind his back.
