Baela was heading towards her stepmother's chambers and saw her father, Daemon. She called out to him but to no answer. She headed towards the chambers again before walking in. She saw the stuff on the floor, trashed flowers and broken glass. She was certain it was her father.
"My queen?" Baela spoke as she eyed you.
"Stepdaugher..." you whispered. "I want you to go and be on lookout for any movements that the Hightowers might be planning but don't engage. Moondancer is big enough for it now."
"Really, my queen?" Baela said, feeling slight excitement at the chance of finally getting out of the castle and doing something for this damn war.
"Of course," you spoke before you stood up and moved closer to Baela, putting your hand on her cheek, Baela's eyes widened. "I only want you to do it if you want, my daughter." You said.
Baela had never felt more grateful for the love you gave her, especially since her own mother, Laena Velaryon had died in childbirth.
"I'll do that for you, mother." Baela whispered the word, it felt foreign to her. "I need too."
