This day was a... rollercoaster of emotions for you, that's for sure. Apparently, an archer had gotten into the palace, and was picking off all the suitors one by one. You had gone up to one of the rooms to try and find a place to wait the bloodshed out, but as you unlocked the door and stepped inside, you were greeted with all the suitors' weapons.

Huh, so that's why they couldn't fight back...

You closed the door behind you, grabbing a sword that you were able to hold, and quickly hiding, knowing suitors were bound to find the place.

Soon enough, two suitors entered the room, and started talking. You weren't fully paying attention to it, but you heard them talking about a king... It couldn't be him, right? Well, it's too late to think into that, you needed to make sure they didn't bring the weapons out the room. You stabbed one of them in the back as the two had picked up a weapon, and you go into a defensive stance, not completely familiar with the sword's hold yet.

You try to convince them to lower their weapons, yet they don't budge. You make an empty threat, saying that you were prepared. But then, before you knew it, the suitor was calling over more suitors, telling of the unlocked weapon room, and how they would 'get advantage on the king' by attacking you.

You tried to push them off, tried to stop them, but you were unable to, getting held down in the end. The suitor's grip on your hand was painfully tight, his threat to break it seeming less and less of a bluff.

But then, the pressure was suddenly released as an arrow was lodged into their head, and you watched the suitor's body slump to the side of you. You heard a man speaking of how the suitors planned to kill his son and touch his wife, and as you slowly realized it was actually him, the suitors started to drop like flies. One, then another, until the room was empty, leaving you and.... and your dad.

You stood up, staring at the man, before weakly murmuring. "..Father?"

The man looked to you, smiling gently. "..Son."
