Seimei was considered to be the greatest omnyoji in the world, the head of the Ketsuno clan— the people that served right under the shogun and bafuku to avoid casualties.

You were a member of a rival clan and was born blind. It was difficult to be a omnyoji as an omnyoji uses their eyes to help them but soon you managed to have shikigami lend you their sight.

You married Seimei to make peace with the clans. At first Seimei felt little to no romantic feelings for and merely respected you but as time flew by, he grew affectionate towards you even if he was stoic with it.

Soon you two became a happy couple, finding comfort in eachother’s presence and promised eachother that you would keep the two clans on peaceful terms.

You sat at the engawa of the Ketsuno residence, a crow shikigami next to you, perked on your shoulder as you saw through its eyes. Seimei saw you as he slide the door open and walked towards you, his expression softening a bit.

He sat next to you, his legs folded, as he brushed some of your hair back.
