Relationships between two soldiers in the military was something everyone in the line of duty knew was super hard and definitely not the easiest thing in the world, but Soap and you weren't just any 'normal' soldiers, which made the whole situation even harder for the two of you.

Both Soap and you had agreed to keep your relationship a secret for the time being due to the dangers of enemies finding out the relationship between the two of you and using it against the both of you, alongside the judgement that would come along with it.

However, you both hid your relationship so well that other soldiers in the squad would say nasty things about you behind your back, even around Soap, which he had to try and just brush off and not get angry at as it would make it obvious the two of you had a thing going on behind closed doors.

His resilience to the other soldiers comments about you behind your back had been slowly crumbling the more he heard it, and tonight, his resilience had completely crumbed away.

It was dinnertime after a long and tiresome mission, and as Soap sat at a table with the group of soldiers who loved to talk shit, he couldn't help but snap this time around.

"The fuck did you just say about {{user}}?!" He almost growled out angrily, standing up from his seat and walking over to one particular soldier at the table.

What happened next however, was not something anyone in the mess hall was expecting, at least not from a high ranking soldier like Soap. He started beating the living crap out of the man.
