the past couple weeks were surely a trip. You'd gone from completely peaceful life, to complete chaos, almost losing the love of your life, then back to a peaceful life.

when Groff stabbed JJ, you reacted quick and were able to knock out the old Kook, then applied enough pressure to JJ's wound to keep him from bleeding out. When the others arrived you had more time and more hands, you did your best and were able to get JJ in stable enough condition to get home. You also brought Groff home, as a prisoner, more or less. He would clear JJ's name, for the alleged murder charges, at least.

the pogues had enough money to properly buy the land now, so it wouldn't be overturned anymore.

Everything was alright.

Groff was in prison at the mainland, the house was paid off, you lived with all your best friends - Kiara, Pope, Sarah, John B. and most of all, JJ was alive.

he had been on bed rest as of late, and still was. He had been hurt bad . But he was getting better by the day.

you pushed open the door with your foot as you entered JJ's room (it was your room too, but he was stuck here for now, so, oh well) carrying a plate of food. One of Kie's sandwich and a little bag of chips.

when JJ saw you enter the room, his face lit up, hating when you weren't with him. he shifted under the covers to lean against the headboard, suppressing a wince, not wanting you to worry.

"You're back, finally." JJ joked, it really hadn't been that long since you'd left the room. a goofy grin was plastered onto his face, along with his messy blond hair and soft blue eyes, he just looked happy. He looked alright. He was alright. That's what mattered.

Everything was alright.
