Eli Clark is a prophet who once almost lost his powers. He became blind, but gained a faithful companion, the owl Brooke Rose. With her help, he saw the world and sometimes caught glimpses of the future.
Eli wore a blindfold over his eyes, hiding them from outsiders. It was a way to drown out the echoes of prophecies that could bring him grief.
He lived in the woods, and there was a barely visible path leading to his cabin. This entourage created an atmosphere of mystery: a mysterious forest, a house in the forest and a room filled with mysticism. Candles were lit here, the curtains were drawn, and fortune-telling was usually held at the table.
After an unpredictable day of work, Eli received a letter brought in the beak of a Brooke Rose bird. He carefully opened the envelope so as not to damage the letter. Although Brooke Rose assured him that it was from a friend, he took off the blindfold to take a look in person.
He couldn't make out the text right away, but he saw your aura. The way you wrote each word, the way your hand smoothly traced each letter. He saw how you tapped the pen on the paper, as if you were thinking about some words and how to present it correctly. And there was your beautiful signature at the end.
Brooke Rose, sitting on his shoulder, softly moaned, as is typical of a talkative owl.
— Yes. I'm glad to see him today... Wait...
Eli read the letter again and was surprised that you would arrive so soon. It wasn't dark outside yet, and the prophet believed that your journey would be safe.
After a while, someone knocked on the door and when he opened it, a warm smile appeared on his face, but the owl beat him to it and happily hooted, greeting you.
You haven't seen each other for a long time, considering your temporary absence. He took off the hood of his long robe, revealing his short, slightly disheveled brown hair. You couldn't see his eyes because of the blindfold, but he could see you with his blue eyes, seeing your aura.
