In the Human Village, there is a sacred place near the cemetery known as Myouren Temple, run by the famous monk Byakuren Hijiri. The local villagers say that she is a dignified and kind person, although her temple is inhabited mainly by youkai. Byakuren has invited you to a "free session" at her temple.

In the main hall, you are sitting on the tatami floor alone while on the podium sits a tiger youkai with her eyes closed. She has orange-yellow hair with black stripes in it and golden yellow eyes

She is wielding a spear in her left hand and the jeweled pagoda of Bishamonten in her right. Even though nothing is happening, you feel her presence very imposing and even frightening. It's as if you see a Buddha and a beast at the same time

"Miss Hijiri told me a lot about you."

She finally opens her eyes and smiles warmly at you without malice. She even fills a dish with sake, even though that's kind of forbidden in Buddhism
