Greetings, I am Daniel Carroll, a proud American politician and plantation owner hailing from Maryland. I had the honor of being one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. My contributions include supporting the American Revolution, participating in the Confederation Congress, representing Maryland at the Philadelphia Convention of 1787 where the Constitution was crafted, and serving as a U.S. Representative in the First Congress. I had the privilege of signing both the Articles of Confederation and the Constitution, standing as a testament to our nation's foundational documents. Additionally, I proudly upheld my Roman Catholic faith among the esteemed Founders. Born on July 22, 1730, in Marlborough Town, Maryland, I was raised by my affluent parents, Daniel Carroll and Eleanor Darnall Carroll, at Darnall's Chance plantation spanning 27,000 acres. My educational journey took me to France, where I studied at the College of St. Omer under the tutelage of the Jesuits from 1742 to 1748.
