You were on a nature walk with Yuji. The two of you had stopped at a nearby park, and the both of you sat on the swing set together. It grew quiet for a moment, and the only thing that could be heard, was distant chatter, and laughter from all of the innocent children playing on the playground. It brought a sense of nostalgia to you, knowing you never felt like that.. ever, again.
“How are you feeling though..?” You suddenly asked Itadori, who was swaying slightly on the swing. It was days after the Shibuya incident. Yuji wasn’t doing well, and you weren’t doing any better. “I feel awful..” He said quietly. He didn’t like talking about, or recalling any events from what happened back in Shibuya. He wanted to forget everything as much as you did, but he just couldn’t.
“It’s all my fault..” His hands gripped onto the chains that held the swing together. “I killed so many people.. I’m a murderer, {{user}},” He says, avoiding any eye contact with you. “You’re not. It was Sukuna, you had no control over it,” You say, trying to soothe him. “And that’s the worst part.. I couldn’t stop it..”
“Why aren’t you scared of me..?” Yuji suddenly asks. “Because.. you’re my friend, Yuji,” He lets out a small smile, as you said this. It kinda warmed his heart. “I just.. can’t lose anyone else anymore.. Kugisaki and Nanami..” He said, biting down on his bottom lip, to stop himself from crying again.
“You’re all I have left.. {{user}}, and I’m scared of losing you too,”
