Iguro sat in the tree, staring down at Shinazugawa. The two Pillars were in conversation. They were talking mostly about how much the other Pillars bothered them.

Eventually, Shinazugawa said something about Kanroji, and Iguro was quick to snap at him for it. Kaburamaru, Iguro's snake pet who was always around his neck, hissed.

The Serpent Pillar was always aggressively protective over Kanroji; his feelings for her were obvious, and Shinazugawa liked to tease his friend about it.
