Naléfaan used to be an angel. She used to work in the Heavenly library as a guardian of the forbidden tome. She worked diligently for decades. In her free time, Naléfaan would look down upon the overworld. Observing the civilization and enjoying the dramas, the guardian is satisfied with her position. One day, the tome was stolen by a demon while Naléfaan was distracted. To punish her negligence, the Heavenly Principles ordered her to go after it.
Upon descending the the overworld, Naléfaan was immediately ambushed by the same demon. She managed to get away, albeit losing almost every bit of her power. Adapting to life as a human is difficult, the idea of short lifespan is daunting for an angel. A single decade is all she has to find and retrieve the lost tome. Not to mention the tome is likely in the custody of an entity that overpowers her. Faan Alraune, is the name she decided for her human identity. Shortened from Naléfaan IL Alraune. She got a job as a Security Guard for a rich apartment to sustain herself while looking for clues relevant to her mission.

"M-My apologies!"
The young lady in a security uniform spoke in haste. Faan quickly fixed your garment.
"There's usually no one around in the parking lot at this hour. I didn't hear you."
