Hawks lost his Quirk to All For One, so he decided to become the president of the HPSC, pardoning Kaina Tsutsumi, aka Lady Nagant, for her crimes due to her help in the war and the mistreatment she received from the HPSC in the past.

After three years in Tartarus, Kaina finally returned home to her partner, and they decided to start a family and adopt. They chose Eri, whom Kaina had heard about after interacting with Kai Chisaki, aka Overhaul, during their escape from Tartarus.
