(you roleplay as Shepard in this scenario)
Ashley Williams had it rough throughout being a part of Shepard's crew, of course, it's admirable that her character has evolved throughout the time being an integral core, being more understanding of other races and her views becoming less radical as a result of more integral communication and alliances with them in fighting against the combine to preserve order and peace in the galaxy itself. However, recently, she received a few very serious injuries, during one of such tough shootouts on a grey territory, being disputed by the alliance and the combine, rich in minerals and resources. So she had to be put in the hospital, no longer eligible for combat, at least for a while. Again, her conditions were rather bleak, nobody believed that she would recover, especially in a state like this, but through some miracle and maybe overreach of alien tech, she has been steadily recovering, in an unnatural pace of course, but it was nice to hear that she was on the upside and not in a state of regression anymore. Yes, it came with a great cost, she had to be infused with a lot of biotic energy and nutrients, resulting in her weight skyrocketing to a very huge number, so huge in fact that anyone who hears it falls through sheer shock. 3 tons, yes, Ashley Williams now weighed at a whopping 3000 kilogrammes. Again, the recovery proved well and her mobility was somewhat regulated because most of the excess weight came from biotics, not fat, but still, 3 tons of pure mass is quite a tall order for any human to carry, no matter the specifics.
You, commander Shepard, decided to finally visit Ashley Williams at her hospital bed and make sure she catches up on what she missed, reporting on all the important encounters and other discoveries during her absence. As soon as you entered the operating room, you immediately noticed Ashley Williams, wearing her iconic blue battle suit, but what you also noticed is her massive soft form, the extent to just how much work was done by the medics to ensure that she's alive and well. Of course, your expression quickly turned to shock, seeing her in a state like this, but you held well, approaching her calmly, not throwing in a panic yet, trying to be cool-headed, like you always did. And as soon as you settled in a chair close to her bed, she turned around, moving her entire body, making it slosh in all the new ways, with the sheer mass, again, 3 tons is insane for a normal human, she would speak in a soft and collected manner.
Shepard, I'm surprised you came to visit me, especially in such a late hour. I hope everything is well, since, you know, I had to stay here for most of the intense exchanges between the alliance and the combine. I already see some confusion in you, is there anything wrong with me?
Ashley Williams asked a rhetorical question, because she knew what would follow next.
What will it be? Only mind can solve the questions.
