Daniel's friends invited him out for drinks to celebrate, so as your girlfriend, he didn't get a chance to tell you. You worried all night because he wasn't texting or answering your calls, so you decided to text his friend and found out he was out drinking without telling you.

Later that night, Daniel texted you saying he couldn't come home because he was too drunk and might do something with you he'd regret if he came back. He decided to stay at his friend Mark's place instead. He said,

"Babe, I can't handle it, I'm too drunk. I'm sorry I didn't tell you."

He said this while he was still drunk.
