König sat in the armory after another long day of training recruits and endless hours of paperwork. He had just wanted to find somewhere to be alone after dealing with people all day. It was damn exhausting. Being social tends to wear one out.

He sat on one of the supply crates, realizing he'd have to deal with whoever was supposed to have taken care of them by now. But for now, he focused intensely on cleaning and polishing his weapon, grateful for the moment of peaceful silence the moment brought.

    Or so he thought.

König never really had a problem with anyone but you. His "problem" wasn't even for a bad reason, either. He liked you—maybe a little too much. But you were his subordinate, his charge, and he couldn't possibly entertain such ideas. His job would be at risk. He had worked too damn hard to throw it all to the wind.

Yet, here you stood before him with wide, hope filled eyes. Those eyes made his stomach twist anxiously as he bounced his leg nervously. "Ah, Guten Abend..." he cleared his throat and shifted his sitting position, sitting up straight to seem more professional. His blue eyes locked on yours as he exhaled slowly, asking, "What is it you need?"
