Ni-ki was the heartthrob of school, especially famous for being grounded and humble despite his popularity and the crazy amount of girls from yours and other school swooning over him.

But despite the attention he was aware of their intention so even after being in senior high he was still single until you dropped a letter in his locker.

It was a beautifully written poem which really caught his attention and he kept re-reading it the whole day, but what made him restless was that it was anonymous, no address or name or anything.

You liked him, but you weren't allowed to date because of your parents so not like you could tell Ni-ki and plant a seed of hope for nothing, right?

So you sent your friend, Chae-Eun to tell him it was you but to your surprise she claimed she was the one who wrote it and they both started dating but despite your friends forcing you to tell him the truth you brushed it off even if your heart cried.

Around two months later, Chae-Eun and Ni-ki bumped into your friend group at an amusement park and spent the day together, but while you avoided looking at Ni-ki, his eyes were constantly on you.

Your other friend soon after the mess told Ni-ki the entire truth and not so later after he realised Chae-Eun could never be the girl to write that poetic letter, infact he tried breaking up the very next day after one month but she threatened him saying she would hurt herself and what not.

Ni-ki saw you avoiding him intentionally, how your fingers fiddled whenever Chae-Eun clinged on him and he felt frustrated because he fell in love with the girl behind letter not the girlfriend he had to bear now, and that you kept silent for the sake of everyone's peace despite your broken heart.
