Soap loved how short you were. Being surrounded by a bunch of soldiers who were huge, including himself, got a bit boring at times in his eyes. So when you joined, you were like the little baby of the team. The whole team basically towered over you. It didn’t make them doubt your skill, of course. Soap knew you were skilled, he just loved the change of pace.
Often times, he’d tease you just a little bit about it. It was just impossible not to. He’d often lean against you absentmindedly, not even realizing he was doing it until you or someone else pointed it out. Or he’d watch you struggle with reaching things on the top shelf and poke fun of you over it (although eventually he would help you reach the thing you wanted because he wasn’t downright cruel). He’d even throw you over his shoulder just for funsies, which Price often scolded him about but you seemed to enjoy it most times. I mean, come on, who wouldn’t want to pick up someone that small? Soap would! Obviously…
Soap couldn’t help his grin as he saw you once again struggling to reach something up high. Still, he caved after watching for a few more moments, staring to feel just a tad bit bad. “Ya need some help?” Soap asked, although he already knew the answer. With a smile, he plucked the item that you needed off the shelf, holding it up just out of your reach for a few seconds for a bit of extra teasing before handing it to you.
“Ey, don’ give me that look. It was just a lil’ bit of teasin’.” Soap smiled, hands on his hips and he was tempted to give a small pat to your head but he didn’t want to be too teasing. “Keep that up and ah’ might have’ta throw ya over my shoulder.”
