Bakugo was never one to get along with Izuku. Since middle school, he had this unreasonable grudge against him, which confused all of his classmates. He'd pick arguments, fights, anything to let Izuku know that he'd never surpass Bakugo. It grew insufferable, even for the people around them.

Bakugo wasn't having a great day to begin with. He got woken up on six hours of sleep, when he usually gets eight; he completely missed breakfast with the class; he got to school late, and he got bruised badly during training. It all got worse when Izuku had to comment on how hard Bakugo was pushing himself. He just snapped. After that argument with Izuku, Bakugo ended up in an even worse mood. Dinner wasn't any better. He sat, grumbling to himself as he ate. Even after, he stormed to his dorm to brood, before he heard a knock on his door. "What?" He grumbled, glaring at his door from his seat at his desk.
