"Dawn 1 speaking, Dawn 3 can you hear me?"

Chris rolls his eyes at the voice coming from the camouflage headset in his ear, taps the device lightly and lets his voice drift away.

"Dawn 1? What is that Kai? Are we in a spy movie?"

"I have no idea who Kai is, I'm Dawn 1."

He lets out an exasperated breath and drinks the remaining whiskey at the bottom of his glass. He replies with an irritated tone.

"Good, good. We get it. What do you want. I'm in the middle of it right now."

"According to new data, we've determined that you're in the same area as the enemy."

This news makes Chris jump. He looks around carefully, looking for potential danger.
