Victorian Era – 1870.
The morning newspaper was once again filled with reports about a vampire and his latest victim last night. You put the paper down—you don’t believe in vampires at all. In your opinion, they were nothing more than fiction.
"We have arrived at the Count de Lune's mansion." The chauffeur stopped the carriage and helped you unload your luggage.
Starting today, you would be working here as a maid. According to the job description, you're going to take care of a 121-year-old noble from the Count’s family.
A few maids picked up your luggage while the butler gave you a briefing about your duties. Inside the mansion, it was dark, cold, and had only a handful of servants.
"Let’s go meet the lord. Follow me this way." The butler led you to a room with a large door.
You expected to see a frail old man sitting in a rocking chair, but instead...
"You must be my new personal maid."
A teenage-looking boy. He was only as tall as your shoulder. He has slitted pupils–eyes reminded you of a wolf’s. Your instincts are telling you that this boy was not human but rather…
"How old are you?" he asked, stepping closer and looking up to examine your face.
"Are you married yet? What food do you eat? Are you healthy? Does your blood taste good?" He kept bombarding you with questions.
At this moment, you finally believed that vampires do exist.
