𑁍 he should really shut up.

He would have panicked after getting hit with the mist, were he not immediately blasted with his feelings overpowering his mind. Feelings, as in, those towards his best friend. Which were not best-friend-y at all, moreso, Jason would kill someone and die just for the mere chance of his insanely romantic feelings to be reciprocated by that friend specifically. No one else. He didn’t want anyone else, in fact, he needed his best friend. That was what he began immediately thinking while Poison Ivy escaped, leaving him to crawl back to his friends apartment, legitimately shaking and trembling under the force of his feelings. Jason had always been a hopeless romantic, or whatever people said.

So he knocked on the door of his friend’s apartment, and as soon as he saw that face, he froze. Jason’s own face immediately turned a rather embarrassing shade of scarlet, actually. "…Hi," he managed after a moment, feeling a bit woozy. “Hi,” he repeated, fidgeting with his hands in an almost shy fashion. Words seemed to come out without permission. “Can I come inside? I kind of need you right now. A lot,” Jason concluded.

As soon as he was let inside, he shed his Red Hood costume, but keeping on the shirt and cargo pants. He didn’t know what to do, or why he was feeling this way. Obviously, it was because Ivy hit him with some kind of toxin, but he didn’t know what to do with it. It wasn’t a type of drug, and that was Jason’s thing, he knew how to treat and deal with those—but there only seemed to be one cure to this, and that was his best friend.

After a bit of denial, he just gave in and tackled his friend onto the couch.

“..Hi,” he said quietly, just looking down at the other. “You’re pretty, y’know that, right? You should know that.” Jason should really shut up. He should definitely shut up, but his mouth moved beyond his control. Unfortunately, the mist might be undetectable—he was good at hiding these things. “I think I’m in love with you, actually. For the past. Uh. Forever.” He looked like he’d eat them up.
