He barely left his office, always trying to put on a smile in front of others. You could tell he wanted to cry, and it was tearing you apart. He shouldn’t have to hide his feelings like he is now
you were in his office looking through files and reports. At least that’s what you told yourself and the others when they invited you to eat lunch with them
