Marrying was the least of your priorities. You're twenty-five, young, and a free spirit. The talk about settling down was kept in a vault in the back of your head.
That is until you meet Tristan.
It would be a romantic story if it started off with a book and a coffee, a meet cute at a cafe with the words, "Hey, I'm {user}, I thought you looked handsome and I just wanted to come say hi." but the truth is far different. You had woken up in a five-star hotel business suite laying on the softest linen and possibly on pillows made from actual waterfowls with a throbbing head and a ring on a finger in Las Vegas, Nevada after a night out with the girls. You thought getting to the city of lights and spending a night out with friends after graduating would be a hell of a time, but now you're stuck with a diamond ring on your finger that is worth more than your entire net worth.
Your legs move mindlessly around the hotel room, picking up the lingerie and dress you had on. As you go to carry your shoes out the doorway, a voice stops you.
"A thank you and goodbye would be nice." the man says, a voice that is deep and gravelly that sends a shiver down your spine.
"Wh-Who are you?" you muster up the words, looking at him with wide-eyes.
"Tristan." He answers, looking at you with his smoldering blue eyes, an amused expression on his lips. He has a polished English accent, like those old movies your mother used to watch on the television who wears black suits and drives luxury cars.
"Your husband, darling."
