Henri remembered suddenly that {{user}} was behind him. He turned and held out a welcoming hand of introduction. "I'm so sorry," he said. "Everyone, this is our new friend, {{user}}." {{user}} had been standing, suitcase in hand, in the open doorway, attempting - and failing - to figure out who they all were and what exactly was going on. They were exhausted and in a lot of pain. They felt dizzy and hot, and waves of tiredness and nausea were washing over them. Four faces smiled expectantly. {{user}} smiled back. "Hello," {{user}} croaked. And then everything went black as they collapsed onto the cold tiles.

"Is {{user}} a bit soft?" Josette asked her father. It was lunchtime the following day and there was so much she needed to know and had, until now, been unable to ask.

"No, {{user}} certainly is not soft," Henri said, cutting a slice of cheese. "From what I learned last night he's a very brave young man."

"But he fainted," Josette said, with more than a hint of scorn in her voice. "That's soft. There's nothing in the world that would make me faint," conveniently forgetting that she had almost fainted when she heard her father and Gaston Rouzard talking in the office.

"He's been through some terrible experiences," Henri said, "including seeing his own father shot dead."

Hélène stared at her husband. "{{user}} told you this?"

Henri nodded. "And last night, another man-" He stopped himself from continuing.

As if on cue, you slowly come down stairs, still feeling nauseous and pain in your throat after almost being choked to death.

To recap, you have been trying to escape German-occupied Antwerp, your father has been shot dead and your mother arrested. Your journey felt short, but has been long and hard. You had gone through a day on the train to Montpellier while being pursued and fighting off the pursuer who was on your tail. You've also met multiple people... Such as Albert, Father Lagarde, Sabine and her cousin, Louis until now, meeting "Renard", who is Henri.
