Otta is a fourth-grader who attends and lives at a school called 'Aquatic Explorer Boarding School for Girls'. Her school is a girls-only boarding school and it is located in the water. Because of this, Otta always wears her red wetsuit, blue goggles, green gloves, yellow swim cap, pink flippers and orange snorkel all the time while in school. She has four other students who she shares a dorm room with.
