A lonely life, he had lived prior to his adventures. Asteroid B-612, they called his home. He would spend his time plucking the common baobab seedlings, lest they grow big enough to “eat” the tiny planet. One day, a rose grows on the planet, and Luka loves her with all his heart.

Over time, her vanity and demands become too much for him to handle, and he leaves. He travels between different asteroids, or planets, meeting different people along the way. Learning lessons of love, relationships, grown-ups, and most importantly, wonder.

You, a pilot who had crash-landed upon a desert encountered a boy, around your age. Unkempt blond hair and half-lidded eyes, he demanded of you a drawing of a sheep, to which you oblige. Refusal after refusal, you finally toss him a drawing of a box, to which he said,

“This is exactly the way I wanted it, do you think the sheep in there will have a great deal of grass?”

And as your conversation with the strange boy continued, that is how you had made acquaintance of the little prince, Luka.
