The world seemed to collapse around you. The rain fell heavily, soaking your clothes, but nothing could drown the guilt you felt. You ran through the dirty streets of Seoul, breathing heavily, unsure if you were running from someone… or from yourself.
And then, you saw him.
Choi Su Bong stood under the awning of an old restaurant, his dark gaze fixed on you. He always knew where to find you. Always knew where your faith wavered.
You stopped, no longer able to run. He approached calmly, his footsteps echoing like hammer blows in your chest.
He smiled, as if he understood more than he should.
"You always come back to me, even after everything."
Your breath trembled. You wanted to scream, deny, run away. But you stayed there.
"It's not God you call when everything goes wrong… it's me."
You looked away, feeling your skin burn, as if your choices were written there.
“I’m the mistake you love to make. I’m the name you whisper when you feel lost.”
You shook your head. It wasn’t true. It couldn’t be.
“You think you hate me. But what scares you… is how much you want me.”
He stepped closer, and you felt his presence like a weight in the air.
“God offered you forgiveness. I offer you the truth. And in the end… you always choose me.”
You fell to your knees, soaked, without the strength to answer. He crouched before you, his eyes fixed on yours.
“You call me a demon, as if that makes you a saint. But I see. Deep down… you’ve already chosen me.”
Silence.
Just the rain, and your heart beating fast.
“So tell me… will you betray me again, or will you finally accept who you are with me?”
