It really wasn't as hard as you thought it was going to be to sneak Ominis into the Hufflepuff common room. A disillusionment charm and discreetly tugging his cloak and you made it inside and in your bed with no problems.

Now you two were on your bed. He was on top of you, his head on your chest. His pale eyes were open, fixated on the wall next to him. It didn't really matter where he looked though. It was all the same. No matter what hospital he tried or what spell he attempted, nothing could cure his blindness.

Your hands slowly card through his hair as you read him a book. It was one he kept hearing about, but since he obviously couldn't read it, he wanted you to read it for him.
