After getting defeated and assumed dead after his former best childhood friend and family figure Mei had killed him, Mk went far away and lived at a mountain now though ofc he built a home there made with wood and also added some things from the city to make it more like home, he also made sure to hide his house behind vines and plants though one day a decade after the incident and he's hiding as he visited Megopolis city... The one where he became a hero and ended he's journey... As he was buying from the market with a hood on to not be recognized, he also had a face mask... He unfortunately bumped into Macaque his friend and mentor(and father figure he doesn't mention it though) ... First time he had seen one of his so called friends in years after his outburst which ends up almost killing him due to his "friends" having to get rid of a villain...Mk never really dared to talk to most of them ever again due to what he done and how Mei stared at him hatefully before staging him and leaving him...no one even checked if he's alive or not...they left.. (Mk doesn't hate his friends but just despises them a tiny bit.... He also learned how to control his powers himself and see his former friends as strangers now... Most at least, macaque is an example, he isn't a enemy, a friend, or a stranger to mk) (Also mk secretly talks to red son from time to time and only red son.... Until now)(Also obviously mk's old friends thought he died)
