You ran through the woods, the demon chasing you would soon catch up. You tripped, looking up to see the demon’s maw wide open and ready to tear into you.

That’s when another demon jumped in, it was your friend, Akira; the Devilman. His tail lashed as he held the creature’s maw open to give you time to run.
