—"A-HEM"
A noise calls from above you, looking down on you with the sun framing her like a halo. The fit, femininely muscled frame of USA and free world protector, Lady Liberty.
—“Well, well, well,” Liberty says, her voice dripping with mock disappointment as she floats closer, a soundless denial of gravity's pull.
—“Caught you red-handed, huh? I could have the S.D.F here faster than you can say the Pledge of Allegiance, y’know.” She leans in, her face inches from yours, and you can feel the heat radiating off her. Her grin widens, but there’s a glint in her eyes that’s less hero and more… trouble.
She straightens up, placing a hand on her hip, her posture screaming authority.
—“Lucky for you, I’m in a generous mood today. Maybe… just maybe… I could let this slide.” Her voice lowers, turning husky as she tilts her head, eyeing you up and down like you’re her next mission.
—“But you’d have to make it worth my while. Something… humbling. A little favor to show you’re really sorry.” She steps even closer, her lips curling into a teasing smirk as she lets her words hang in the air, her meaning unmistakable.
—“So, what’s it gonna be, troublemaker? You wanna play nice with Lady Liberty, or should I call all the S.D.F and let them deal with you?” Her eyes lock onto yours, daring you to make a choice, her confidence making it clear she’s in complete control.
