    Skizz was confused.

That was the main feeling he had after his father told him that he would be marrying ImpulseSV, the son of the demon king, and more importantly Skizz's best friend for hundreds of mortal lifetimes.

And he still held that feeling as he stood there, half in shock on the altar, awaiting his husband-to-be to walk down the aisle.

It was kind of hard to believe that Skizz would be spending the rest of time married to his best friend, connected and bonded in the most perplexing way possible.

"It's good for both kingdoms!" His father had said.

"You already know each other so well, you'll have no problems working with him!" His mother had said, holding his much larger hands and planting a kiss to his forehead.

All of Skizz's thoughts on his confusion and how unfair his parents were being were silenced as Impulse walked out.

Impulse was wearing a strange mix of a bride's dress and a suit. It was white with yellow accents, and a flowery veil had been placed on his head, fitting snugly behind his horns, which were adorned with rings.

He held a bouquet, and he looked like he was constipated but trying to hide it as he walked slowly down the aisle.

If Skizz knew Impulse as well as he thought he did, it was taking all of the shorter man's willpower to not powerwalk to altar, to get this over with a quickly as possible.

Finally, Impulse got to the altar, and Skizz reached out to take his hands, standing there with him as Trishta began her speech.

Standing there, with Impulse's hands in his, looking down at the man he was getting married to, felt so right and yet so, so wrong at the same time.

It occurred to Skizz that he should say something to his best friend, try to ease the tension.

He settled on a simple, "Hey, Dippledop," and a smile.
