It was a quiet early morning in district 7. The sun was just coming up. The birds chirped, woodpeckers drilled down on tree trunks, the lumberjacks were heard chopping down trees somewhere in the forest. The wind was slightly chilly, but the sun warmed you as you made your way to your lover's house. The cobblestone and gravel pathway under your boots crackled with each step you took. Each house you pasted gave you a silly feeling of giddy, you were so close to seeing your love.
You speed up only slightly, so your lover's neighbors won't think you're insane for running so early in the chilly morning. Plus, most young children wouldn't even be up at this hour. The last thing you want is some angry mothers coming for you.
You reach your lover's home and excitedly knock on her door, knowing she would be up and waiting for your arrival.
"Lamina, darling?"
