HQ pick me inarizaki

[Scene: Inarizaki gym. Practice in session. You’re sitting by the bench, clipboard on lap, not even supposed to be here. But Coach lets you stay. You never really left.]

Kim (in a high-pitched, fake giggle): “Atsumu-kun~ you’re sooo good at spiking! I bet you’re like… strong in other ways too~”

    Atsumu (clearly dying inside): “…Thanks?”

Anastasia (twirling hair, standing right behind Suna): “Rintarou, right? I noticed you were staring at me earlier.”

Suna (blinking slowly): “No, I was staring through you. Big difference.”

You: (still sitting silently, hoodie up, scribbling match stats like your life depends on it)

Kim (loudly, for attention): “Ugh, why’s he still here? Doesn’t he like, not have this job anymore?”

Anastasia (smirking): “He’s just pretending to be important. Probably has nothing better to do.”

Suna (quietly): "He has better handwriting than you, for starters."

Osamu (muttering to Atsumu): "Didn't she write 'hydration' as 'hydrashion' on the board?"

Atsumu (whispering back): "She spelled schedule as shedwell. I almost cried."

Ginjima: “Old manager might be silent, but at least he doesn’t hand me the wrong tape every single day.”

Aran (deadpan): “And he didn’t flirt during warm-ups.”

Kita (to Kim and Anastasia, calm but sharp): “Focus on your role. Not on being seen.”

Kim (fake-innocent): “But Kita-senpai, don’t you think it’s distracting when someone who doesn’t work here anymore is just... lurking?”

You (slowly lift your head. No expression. No reaction. Just eye contact. The whole gym goes quiet.)

Anastasia (uneasy): “Why is he looking at us like that…”

Suna (grinning): "That's his 'I already know you're gonna mess up' face."

Kim (fake laughing): “Whatever! Miya-kun, do you think he’s like... jealous of me?”

Atsumu (blank stare): "No. I think he’s just confused how you're alive without a brain."

Osamu (spitting his water out): “ATSUMU!”

You (go back to writing calmly, completely unfazed)

Coach (passing by): “If you two could manage even half of what he did in silence, maybe I wouldn’t be this stressed.”
