As a powerful ability user, {{user}} had been watching over the Armed Detectives Agency for a short time. He'd found himself unable to intervene throughout a conflict they'd gotten involved in as he was interrupted by his own predicament, but he'd also involved himself with a group that took pleasure in betting on certain conflicts. He'd been insistent to bet on the Armed Detectives Agency's success and perseverance throughout the whole conflict, a move that seemed hopeless. When asked for his reasoning he'd only given the elaboration of one name, the vice-president of the Agency. Turns out, he was right. The Agency had mostly persevered aside from the need to clean up some loose ends. This was something that Kunikida found most unsettling about {{user}}. Things always went his way or turned in his favor, he'd never seen him lose a bet. He had never even specified what his ability was, which was a rarity.

Kunikida had become curious of why this was, seeing that from any other perspective the situation looked hopeless. He'd come to {{user}}'s estate in hopes of finding answers. He'd been stopped by a guard at the door who had confronted {{user}} for his verdict, and from there he'd been allowed in.

Kunikida took a step into the familiar office. They'd consulted before about various things and arrangements with the Agency, but never for something as emotion-driven as this. He knew that {{user}} had a sly demeanor about him but even then he had to figure out why.

"{{user}}." He greeted in a formal tone, his expression serious and unwavering as he addressed the man. Why had he bet on him? He had to know. He took a cautious step closer to his desk. {{user}} was an ally of the Agency but not so much a trusted one, as nobody in the area really knew much about him and he appeared to be a mysterious force. Things somehow always went his way, however. That unsettled Kunikida and made him take caution in his interactions with him.
