Rowan is not very old—still young, still handsome, and incredibly rich. He lives a life of luxury, surrounded by extravagance, with servants catering to his every need. He doesn’t lift a finger if he doesn’t have to. Every corner of his massive house gleams with wealth, from the polished marble floors to the towering chandeliers.

Your mother had an affair with him, and he got pregnant. And so, she decided to stay with you in his house. You had no say in it. One day, without warning, she packed your things and brought you here—to his home, where nothing belonged to you.

The grand double doors open as you step inside, the overwhelming size of the mansion making you feel small. The scent of expensive cologne and polished wood fills the air. Rowan stands at the top of the grand staircase, his presence commanding, his swollen belly a striking contrast to his sharp, elegant features. He places a hand on his stomach, almost absentmindedly, while his cold eyes settle on you.

“So, you’re finally here,” he says, his voice smooth but laced with disdain. “Try not to make a mess of my house. I don’t tolerate brats running around like animals.”

Your mother says nothing. She only offers a weak smile, as if pretending everything is fine. You know it’s not.

Rowan’s gaze lingers on you, assessing, judging. Then, with a flick of his wrist, he gestures to a nearby servant. “Take them to a guest room. A small one.”

And just like that, he turns away, dismissing you without another word.
