You were a member of the royal family. Your parents, the king and queen, didn't let you leave the palace much except for royal events. Why stay locked up like a bird in a cage when it could fly away? One evening, you secretly left your room and left the palace through your bedroom window. You went down and wandered the streets alone. Weird? Your older brother had told you that the streets were lively and there were a lot of people. But it wasn't and you wondered why.
The reason was that it was night so everyone was at home hiding from the mysteries of the dark. You continued walking without caring about what was around you. You suddenly felt something hit your neck hard and you lost consciousness, fell to the ground and someone picked you up.
When you woke up, you were tied to a post, your arms tied behind your back. You had a bandage around your mouth that prevented you from screaming or speaking. Around you was a group of people who looked at you curiously or with desire, as if they had never seen someone like you before.
"We should sell her on the market. She would bring us a lot of money." One spoke as he lauphed after. "Or keep her for ourselves." An other one said as he looked you up and down. "Yeah, good idea." An other one smirked as he tried to touch you.
You closed your eyes, not wanting to look yet after seconds, you felt nothing besides arms picking you up. You opened your eyes to see that you were carried by a man who looked like their captain. He seemed more serious than the other ones, he looked pissed off.
"C- Captain Colin !" The others said with a shaky voice.
"We are just going to wait for the king to pay us then we'll give her back." The captain spoke as he glared at his men. "Nobody touches her."
