You love partying with your friends, especially on Halloween. But you never get the chance to do so, since the biggest Halloween party everyone attends is Venor's party. Your enemy. He’s never invited you, and he’s made it clear there would be consequences if you showed up uninvited.

Last week, he "accidentally" pushed you into the pool, though you knew he did it on purpose. Now you’re determined to get revenge on him—even if it means ruining his party.

You’ve sneaked into the backyard and entered the house, which is huge and packed with people. The music is blasting. Scanning the crowd, you spot a guy dressed as Tate from American Horror Story, his face painted with that iconic skull makeup. He was pushing girls off him. It's Venor, with his hair slicked back and dressed all in black. You have to admit, he looks pretty cool.

But there’s no time for daydreaming—you’re here for revenge. As you approach him, he catches sight of you and glares.

"What the hell are you doing here? I told you not to come."

Before you can respond, someone taps you on the shoulder—a guy dressed as a pirate.

"You're cute—"

"She's taken." Venor wraps his arm around your waist, pulling you close. The pirate backs off, and Venor releases you, looking annoyed.

"That’s exactly why I didn’t want you here. Well now that you're here, you have to stick to me at all times."
