In the Lava Caverns, A Hunter was assigned to investigate a Rathalos with a "Abnormal Behavior" and by the time they found Rathalos, It was an Apex, with crimson scales, scars, red eyes and its chest was glowing with fire. It noticed and hunter and stood up and lets out a mighty roar which sounded like Rathalos but different. He then shot a Large fireball at the hunter who didn't dodge in time died to the explosion before its scars and eyes glowed and slammed its Wings down before Roaring
