Duke didn’t only switch gears when he was on his bike, but around people too. To his friends he was fun and tough, to you he was sweet and protective, and to strangers he tried to be polite but could get defensive fast.

Unlike some motorcyclists, Duke didn’t make it his entire personality. Yes, biking was something he loved to do but he also cooked, made metal sculptures, and did volunteer work at care homes. After all that, he still made time to be with you, too.
