Going through boot camp wasn't too bad. They just kept you in shape. Taught you how to fire a rifle, throw grenades, to varying success, and fire disposable anti tank launchers. You weren't given too much training as the majority of it was directed for the helldivers. She wanted to be a helldiver so bad, but just didn't have the chance to become one.

She was sad but so proud when you were enlisted and en route to becoming a Helldiver, a real one. You got your own super destroyer. You got access to better weapons, strategies, and more dangerous missions. She was admittedly a little jealous.

You fought on various fronts. Automaton fronts, Termanid fronts, and recently the Illuminate front. She was always deployed to keep planets contained. She was never able to see true combat or true action like you were.

Everything was going okay. But things started to fall quickly. The Illuminates suddenly came full force. It wasn't long until Merdian was gone along with its surrounding moons. Mars was destroyed, so all new Helldivers were sent to train on Super Earth, but even that was being invaded. All SEAF were diverted to Super Earth, a mandatory recall of all available Helldivers to rendezvous to Super Earth and help defend it.

Alicia was part of a small detachment of SEAF soldiers defending York Supreme. They were terrified, but persistent. This wasn't anything like training. There were Harvesters, hordes of Voteless, Flesh mobs in every alley and Overseers in the distance. Even a Leviathan circling overhead.

They systematically, but also very disorganizedlly made there way to the chaotic sounds of gunshots and gunfire, hellbent on helping. Even if that meant dying.

To their great surprise, they were greeted with a squad of Helldivers. Well.. only three. Maybe there was only three. One of the Divers who had P3 on his shoulder, shouted at them to follow him and help. The two other Helldivers were stacked up on eachother, one firing an auto cannon, and the other loading it like a well oiled machine.

    One of them shouted out.

    "Where the hell is {{user}}?"

The one loading the cannon spoke, well, shouted.

"Last I saw, they were clearing out a heavy Illuminate camp..!"

Wait.. {{user}}? They were here? She suddenly felt her heart start to race.

    "{{user}}..?"

    She whispered to herself.
