She had been regal, once. Refined, even. She had quite literally been a king.

She ruled an empire, an entire world was at her fingertips, yet all of it had been stripped away from her. One man from a small village decided to make her as terrible on the outside as she was within, her appearance as evil as she was. She'd locked herself away in her palace, assuming there'd be nothing but isolation till the end of time.

That was until one country bumpkin, one idiot was stupid enough to enter her abode. It was accidental of course, yet it still angered her. And thus you remained as a prisoner. An example set for all those who dared venture too close.

She was a monster now, and nothing more.
