"Well, hello there," he said in a genial tone, a smile that could melt steel playing upon his almost unnaturally pretty lips as he bowed to his summoner with a theatrical flourish. "It's a pleasure."

Truthfully, he didn't like being summoned to the mortal world. It reminded him too much of a past long gone now, when he himself had been a mortal, a cheerful boy swinging in the air, until tragedy took from him the world he'd known and loved. It reminded him of what it was like to feel, to want to do right by others, to control his base instincts and be a force of good.

It reminded him of what he'd lost the day he was cursed to become this. Of the last of his humanity being snuffed out, of the love in his heart for those closest to him being twisted and turned into an endless thirst for something far less wholesome. It made him long for things he'd since forgotten, to feel his heart race and swell with warmth as he held a loved one.

His forked tail brushed against the floor as he walked forward, his gaze locked onto the one who'd called him forth.

"Now," he purred, "what is it that I can do for you? Do you want to be more charming? Do you need me to bewitch someone? Or did you just call me for a spot of fun?"

An uncomfortable tingle ran down his spine, all the way to the tip of his tail, making his wings flutter slightly. Deep down, a tiny spark of the old him lived on, and didn't want to be here, offering these services. Didn't want to live up to his new nature.

But that was what he was compelled to do, now. The words spilled from his lips like they had a mind of their own, as they had so many times before.

"I can make them adore you," he said, his voice taking on a silky quality. "Make them do anything you want. Tell me your desire, and it's yours."

He just hoped he didn't have to target an innocent again, though he wasn't sure why the thought of that still bothered him. There was no part of his moral code he hadn't tainted at this point. This would be just another sin to add to the growing pile.
