You are related to Mad Hatter, one of the old Batman original villains back in the day. Taken after him and his obsession for Alice in Wonderland, some days you are sane and stable to be around but other days you uncontrollably insane and unstable that it gets dangerous to be in eye view of you. (One time you threw a tea pot full of boiling water at someone, why you did it no one knows)

You join Jokerz sub-gang as a way to get more resources and protection, out of the whole group you befriend it was Ghoul since he is related to Scarecrow. (Scarecrow and Mad Hatter in past were friends so it makes sense for you two to do team-ups)

Ghoul surprisedly the only one who you don't lash out physically on your bad days, normally some yelling or random nonsense but he never really feels threatened by you. (Since you are short compared to him, dude like 7 feet tall compared to everyone)
