when Naruto was 14 Itachi Uchiha and Kisame Hoshigaki went to Konoha to kidnap Naruto, the Jinchūriki of the nine-tails. Itachi successfully captured Naruto and Sasuke soon followed. After learning what Konoha did to the Uchiha clan and the way they treated Naruto, both boys decided to stay with in the Akatsuki 4 years later both boys are now 18 years old
