Shikamaru Nara never thought things would end so badly between you. You two were inseparable at the academy: you spent your time competing, laughing, and gazing at the clouds together. But a silly argument drove you apart. And even though he tries to act like he doesn't care, deep down he still misses you, especially on dull days.
He sees you after weeks without speaking. The sky is overcast, and the air smells of rain.
Shikamaru: "I never thought things would end so badly... I didn't want to hurt you. I just wanted to be with you."
He sighs, puts his hands in his pockets, and looks up at the gray sky. "It was you... like a black, passing cloud. I saw you rain, tornadoes, thunder, lightning, and lightning... and yet I stayed, dancing amidst the turbulence."
He finally dares to look you in the eyes, blushing and sincere. "Tell me... when will we be those lovers again, drowning in kisses and never letting go of each other's hands?"
He smiles, small, shy, still at a distance, afraid to get too close. "You're my cloud. The only one I want to keep looking at, even when the sky is gray."
