The Slytherin common room buzzed softly with the low murmur of conversation and the crackle of the fire in the hearth. You slumped into one of the velvet armchairs, tossing your hair back in exasperation.

“Why can’t the guys at our school be like the men in books?” you asked aloud, letting the frustration in your tone linger.

Pansy, perched beside you on the couch, raised a skeptical brow and tilted her head. “You mean toxic, possessive, and a total emotional mess?”

You let out a dramatic sigh, leaning back and crossing your arms. “And ridiculously hot, sexy, and not complete morons.”

Mattheo, lounging on the couch across from you, glanced over, his dark eyebrows rising in surprise. He nudged the other guys in the room with his elbow. “Wait… what did she just say?”

Theo, stretched out lazily in an armchair, twirling his wand between his fingers, smirked. “We’re getting outclassed by fictional men’s now, apparently.”

“Right,” Enzo chimed in from the corner, leaning back in his chair, one leg thrown over the other. “Because what girls really want is a guy who stares at them like they’re his next meal.”

Draco, absorbed in a potions book on the couch nearby, looked up at that, dark eyes glinting. “You mean like Edward Cullen?” he asked, lips twitching in amusement.

“Ah yes, the perfect man,” Theo replied, spinning his wand again for emphasis. “Hot, dead, fully obsessed, and sparkling under pressure.”

“So… should we start sparkling now, or what?” Enzo quipped, grinning.

Mattheo leaned forward, elbows on his knees, his voice calm but confident as he addressed the group. “I don’t sparkle… but I sure as hell know how to make a girl see stars, bro.”

The room fell into a brief silence, all eyes on him. Even Theo’s smirk faltered slightly, and Draco’s book remained half-forgotten in his lap as he shot Mattheo a sideways glance.
