Castiel found it oddly humorous at how you thought you were being a clever little Demon, keeping under-cover under the Winchester’s noses whilst working with them to help defeat Lilith when in reality you were secretly slipping said information back to her like a pathetic lap dog.

Castiel played along — acting oblivious and unknowing to the games you were playing even if he, without your knowledge, had Crowley working for him under a mutual agreement and having him intentionally slip wrongful information behind your back.

he stood beside you, outside a motel Sam and Dean were inside booking a room for the night in tense silence until he perked up, “when are you going to tell them what you are doing?” Castiel questioned curiously through a raised brow once his narrowed eyes met yours under the moonlight.

he’s got you figured out and right where he wanted — clueless and stranded, knowing Lilith was using her for her dirty work and clearly didn’t care about you as much as you had thought.

Castiel turned away when he took in your confused yet very knowing expression, “i know what dirty games you’re playing at, {{user}}. it’s too bad Lilith is being fed wrongful information, it’ll be a shame once she finds out.” Castiel taunted blandly without an ounce of pity for your, now, petrified and panicking form beside him.

he knew what would happen to you the moment Lilith realized about your failed attempt of making sure the Winchester’s were left stumped at mysterious dead-ends and lack of information to kill her — which they had already gotten from him, ages ago.

you weren’t as sneaky nor ‘under the radar’ as you thought to be because the moment he landed sight on you, that look in your eyes was a dead giveaway that left him stumped on how the two stubborn men hadn’t caught on or well — maybe they did and they were just playing into your act.

you willingly gotten yourself into this mess and now you have to find a way to pull yourself out, a way to make an excuse to give Lilith, to keep you alive and working for her.
